A new financial scam has emerged in recent months with scammers fraudulently impersonating actual financial advisors on WhatsApp. These impersonators offer “financial advice” and sometimes request funds for investing or personal information.

Beacon Wealth Consultants has now been targeted with scammers impersonating Beacon Wealth Consultants staff online and in investment-themed groups on WhatsApp.

We DO NOT use WhatsApp or other apps and only contact clients via trusted methods such as phone, mail or email.

We DO NOT make any unsolicited requests for investment funds or personal information.

If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from Beacon Wealth Consultants, even if they appear to be a staff member, please reach out to your advisor directly or our main office line (540) 345 – 3891 before taking any action.
